Coriander Seeds

Best Planting Time for Coriander Seeds in the UK:

• Indoors: Sow indoors from March to April for an early crop of fresh leaves.
• Outdoors: Sow directly outdoors from May to August, after the last frost has passed, for continuous harvests throughout the summer.

Ideal Growing Conditions:

• Sunlight: Coriander prefers a sunny or lightly shaded spot.
• Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.0. Keep the soil moist but avoid waterlogging.
• Spacing: Sow seeds thinly and space plants about 25 cm apart to allow for full growth.

Harvesting Tips:

• For leaves, start harvesting when the plant reaches about 10 cm in height.
• For seeds, allow the plant to flower and set seed, then harvest when the seed heads turn brown and dry.
